Made from
this book, with stash fabric, for a friends daughter.
Looking forward to making another for my niece (already cut out!!)
Loving making things that somebody can wear, but wishing I had a girl as girls clothes are easier than boys!!!
(the pattern for this dress is in June's
Sew magazine )

What a cute little dress, clever you..x
Very sweet :)
Am the same as you - just boys here who don't appreciate Mummy made clothes!!
Instead I've started making a dress for me!!
A fab book and a great little dress - I keep eyeing it up and I think you've tempted me to have a go.....when I find some time (as always) that is.

Its sweet! And gorgeous fabric.
What a lovely dress - love the colours x
Fab dress - I love it. I am becoming a Emma Hardy addict, and am quietly collecting all her books (and hoping that Husband doesn't notice). I have stopped buying magazines and get the odd craft book every now and then instead.xx
That is gorgeous. I'm really loving these little girl's pinafore dresses x
That is adorable. :0 xx

It's lovely Claire, love the fabric.
Girls are so easy to make for.
When C was little I made loads, and even when she was older we'd take a look in New Look teens, then I go home and make something similar but not quite the same so she was different to her friends.
I had a fab piece of kit I bought at a jumble (or CS) called a Patterneer. Like a fool I got rid when C grew out of the sizing, but basically it was plastic pattern pieces that could be manipulated for size and shape. Brilliant for original kids clothing.
So it you ever see one, don't hesitate. Snap it up!!!
Love and blessings

Aha, just chanced upon your blog and it turns out YOU'RE Patch Fabrics! I recently made an apron with some mushroom fabric for a birthday pressie and the fabric in particular impressed the recipient - so thanks very much, I'll definitely call again! :)
