The little cabinet is painted. I decided on LA duck egg, as there was some in the shed!
The handle is from Homebase and though its quite big, sticky outy big, its pretty so its staying!
(not showing you the inside as I've made a right hash of papering it! It will be redone I think. But will see how I feel when its up and got our stuff in)My painting mojo has returned..so I'm hopeful that the freecycled dresser will get painted before the end of the summer!! The sewing box table wotsit is primed. And have ordered some paint from here.
I was going to use F&B dimity, and I know that the CK paints have had mixed reviews from people who have used but I thought I'd give it a whirl. And they are bargainously priced - even accounting for postage. Thank you to the lovely rasp for that link. x x x

Well, that works really nicely, I think! I have only ever once in my life had a painting mojo (although the bookshelf still looks good), so I don't think I can say I've lost my mojo, more that it never really was mine in the first place. I have three great little stool/shelf things a friend gave me which I want to convert to seating storage for my fabrics, but can I motivate myself to do the painting..? Not yet...

I've got a solid pine bathroom cabinet I got from the car boot for a £5..I'm going to paint it in my green LA and stick a similar handle on it..it's got a mirror on it too..am thinking about covering it with some oilcloth as I really don't want to have to look at myself every morning!

Yep it is great fun once you get into it. I have two things in between coats in the back porch area at the moment.

Only discovered you recently. Thought you might not know about the Buddha Market in Southwold most holidays. We're setting up another one for halfterm week which you might like to see. A fleamarket with handmade too opp the Electric Picture Palace. Also have a fair in Woodbridge - Vintage and Makers market on 13 June with loads of stalls.
Off to have a read of your blog now.
