great advice

Whilst blog hopping aka wasting valuble minutes and hours of my life that could be spent decluttering my home, I found this great website,
As a lot of us are decluttering at the minute - doing the back to school countdown to christmas preparations - the latest post on there is very good advice indeed!!
I have realised that as long as I stay off the computer, stuff gets done. I know - genius - who'd have thought it lol!!
I spent a child free 3 hours yesterday cleaning and my bathroom shines and I no longer have last years pine needles under the rug in the lounge...wow thats a confession is anyone else as minging as me!!!
Advent calendar progress update.....
19 pockets pressed - will to live went at that point so hoping to finish later today!!

I've started reading my Christmas books for crafting/decorating ideas and I have found this calendar in this fab book(available via marketplace too).......well I have 4 boys, they surely need a calendar each??? But considering I didn't get one made last year I'll be very surprised if 2 or even 4 are!!

Certainly is great advice! I should be following it, and yet what am I doing - sitting on the computer catching up with blogs! I have got a headache, is that a viable excuse? I'll give myself a few more minutes browsing then better get cracking.

I have pine needles still underneath our side board in the living room, I figured that if no one else could see them then why bother ;) "out of sight out of mind :D xx

I think we could all benefit from a little time away from the pooter but she looks so lonely sat there all on her own and there's quite often a cuppa next to her so it would be rude not to join her, don't you think?
As for the pine needles, you minger, i'm still finding them now. I think they may aswell stay there as there will be more joining them soon 'hehe'!
((hugs))

I ordered a Christmas book from the library today actually and have been thinking about getting out all my books and magazines and planning some Christmas treats.

Ooh its coming on brilliantly! Look at you so organised! 2 years ago we bought one of the hangy ones with the pockets in the B&Q sale after Xmas for about £2.50, its a bit plain though so maybe I could jazz it up a bit with some hearts and stuff...? Yeah I'm sure the BF would love it! Actually I am gonna do that!

P.S Brooch posted off today but knowing the post you wont get it til Xmas! Hope you like the fabric chosen xx

I see your pine needles and raise you food products in the kitchen 4 years out of date!

I love the advent calendar idea and might have a go. Can't believe Christmas is being discussed already!

I find little computer holidays very worthwhile, I like to re-charge my batteries.

The advent calender is beautiful, clever you young lady :)

Thanks for liking the candlesticks, as you may know there is quite a story to tell on those, they were a pair, Mitty has one too. Don't know if the
Beeb has sworn us to secrecy ;)
